KOLDA
The NDAW ACADEMIE hosted a special community giveaway in Kolda, inspired by Yoro Sidibe’s incredible impact on youth development in Senegal. In collaboration with Coach Hubert Boissy, we distributed over 30 pairs of shoes and 50 shirts to young basketball players, bringing excitement and opportunity to aspiring athletes.
This event highlighted the power of basketball and education to inspire and unite communities. Inspired by organizations like AfricaNextGen, which fosters youth growth through mentorship and sports, NDAW ACADEMIE is committed to supporting the next generation, helping young boys and girls chase their dreams both on and off the court.

Kolda welcomed the second edition of our community giveaway, a day dedicated to inspiring and supporting local youth through basketball and mentorship. Guided by the values of determination and goal-setting, the event encouraged children to dream big and embrace hard work.
Over 40 pairs of shoes, 70 shirts, basketballs, cones, and other essential equipment were distributed, ensuring every participant could fully engage and enjoy the experience. The generosity of our supporters and the energy of the community made the day unforgettable. We remain committed to empowering these young athletes, helping them grow both on and off the court.

THIRD EDITION
With the generous support of Sole Purpose 4 L, IMG Academy, and UNF SAAC, we were able to provide 80 young athletes from Kolda and surrounding areas with shoes and athletic gear.
The event celebrated their talent, determination, and potential, giving each child the tools and inspiration to grow both on and off the court. Inspired by Yoro Sidibe’s journey, the day highlighted the power of mentorship and community, reminding us why we do this work—to uplift the next generation and help them chase their dreams.
We also celebrated the success of the USK Girls Team on winning their league, a testament to dedication, teamwork, and hard work.

HANDBALL
Recognizing that talent knows no boundaries, NDAW A. extended its impact beyond the basketball court through a strategic collaboration with MHC MEP from the Netherlands. This partnership was born from a shared vision to uplift the local handball community—a sport with immense potential in the region. By joining forces, we successfully provided 15 pairs of high-performance shoes and 15 sets of professional athletic gear to the local handball team. This initiative was about more than just equipment; it was about providing these young athletes with the dignity and resources required to train safely and compete at a high level. By diversifying our outreach, NDAW A. is inspiring a new generation to see handball as a viable platform for personal growth, teamwork, and future opportunity.
