OUR FOUNDER: COLIN LAMINE NDAW
As a child, Colin Lamine lived in several countries throughout Africa. However, Senegal is the only place he calls home. Born and raised in Senegal’s vibrant capital, Dakar, Colin Lamine saw many of his friends and teammates face the harsh reality of not being able to afford shoes to play the sports they love. Seeing this drove Colin Lamine always to want to give back to the country that has given him so much.
Later on, Colin Lamine had the opportunity to play in the United States and continue his basketball aspirations, but his biggest dream remains to be able to impact future generations through sports. Colin Lamine played his four years of high school at IMG Academy and was selected to represent Senegal at the 2022 U18 African Championship. Today, Colin Lamine is dedicated to his academic and athletic pursuits as he plays Division 1 basketball at The College of William & Mary. He plans to use the sport of basketball to make positive strides in his country.
